Ris is hosting our next Happy Hour!

RIS is the namesake original restaurant by acclaimed chef Ris Lacoste. Shopping up to five markets a week, we think she defines our movement.
Wednesday, October 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. she will be hosting our Meet Local First Happy Hour!
This new monthly event provides a platform for localists to enjoy drink and food specials, mingle with local entrepreneurs and supporters of the Think Local movement.
Situated in the heart of Washington’s West End, RIS thrives as a neighborhood café serving innovative dishes crafted with market fresh produce, grass fed meats, and regional seafood. Lacoste, a fixture on the DC dining scene for 20+ years is also a fixture at area farmers markets. She shops daily, sourcing only the best local ingredients throughout each season. At RIS, food and drink intersect with art to create an experience that transcends the sensory enjoyment of dining out. RIS houses a dynamic gallery of works crafted by a variety of local artists in a range of mediums, intended to be discovered within the fabrics, on the walls, set upon the tabletops and in the hands of every guest.
