Business Memberships
To be eligible for a Business Membership you need to be able to answer “yes” to all of the following questions:
*Is your business located within 15 miles of Washington DC, with no corporate or national headquarters located out of the District?
*Is your business privately held (not publicly traded)?
*Do the business owners, totaling greater than 50% of the business ownership, live within 50 miles of the business?
*Do you operate independently from a large corporation and have the autonomy to make decisions about the business and it’s purchasing, operations and distribution, including the name and look of your business?
*Do you pay all of your own marketing, rent and other business expenses (without assistance from a corporate headquarters)?
*Are you interested in modeling environmentally and socially-responsible business practices?
