3. What was your first job?

Making pizza at PJ’s Pub in Eldersburg, Maryland.

4. What is a day in the life of you (work day)?

All days begin now with a run where I think about what I have to do. This is key. It helps me organize my day and helps me problem solve creative challenges. Once I get to the office I juggle working with existing clients, our designers, our interns, making bank deposits, meeting with potential clients, writing contracts, invoicing clients, working with our accountant and just random stuff like deciding what music will be played in the office- this is more important than you know.

5. What do you do for fun (when you are not working)?

Aikido. I love it. It is a martial arts and it is my passion as is watching art house films at E Street Theater and AFI Theater.

6. Why should DC residents think local FIRST?

By sustaining the unique quality that only locally owned businesses bring to a community, as opposed to large impersonal chains, it enhances our overall quality of life.
